Hi Jeanne,

In reference to the w/c one thing to lookout for if you are on medicare

is they will pay for either manual or electric but not both. I paid

$250 for a manual and let medicare buy the electric. So far I am only

using it as a computer chair! Works great, just motor to the frig for a

Dr. Pepper and back to computer.

My walking is bad to getting worse but still getting by slowly on walker

as long as possible.

I went to a med shop for the w/c and they did not measure me or

anything. Just had me try out several and pick one out. Mine only

reclines part way. Also they billed ins. over $6000 for the Jet II and I

found it later on the net for $3100 retail. Had no idea what they billed

until I received papers from ins

The manual is just a regular old w/c. Kinda wish I had hunted for one

liter and bigger wheels so I could propel myself.

Good luck and shop around on the net first for what they will do.

Arlene
