Thanks to those who answered my questions. I don't know if I should get a

manual or power. I'm thinking power since I don't think I can propel myself too

far, and my husband had open heart surgery and has CHF, and also had back

surgery does'nt need to be pushing me around. So I think the power may be the

best way to go. Or maybe a scooter? What advantages does one have over the

other? They both are expensive, are there any I should stay away from? Which

brands are better, hold up the best. Something heavy duty but easy to transport

and also to get around in. Are reconditioned ones a good investment? Is

renting or leasing a good idea? Let me know your opinions. Sorry It's taken me

a little while to write back, been busy around the house with spring projects.

Legs got tired today, came in made some lunch was cleaning up afterwards,

holding on to side by side door on refrig. after putting something away, turned

to reach for my walker, freezer door popped open, I lost my balance and fell

down on floor, not to much damage, sore left hip and left elbow, scared my

husband who was in next room, scared me too. The moral of the story " DON'T USE

REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER DOOR HANDLES AS GRAB BARS " !!!!!! HAZORDOUS TO HEALTH!!!!!!

LOL....Jeannie/N.J.
