I visited at Mount Sinai today for an hour or so and she is in

fine shape. I expected her to look as bad as I did on day 3 (matted

hair and all) but she got up this morning and took a shower and

washed her hair and looked as perky as ever! Seriously, she feels

great and is not in much pain (they've already stopped the

morpheine). At lunch, she was switched from liquids only to pureed

foods but the smell of the tray made her a bit nauseous so by the

time

I left, she still had not tried any. She is doing her breathing

exercises and is walking 4 times per day. Her incisions are healing

well and I could not believe how animated, energetic and alert she

was. I was certainly not that way when she so kindly visited me in

the hospital a couple of months ago!

To remind anyone who is interested: she is in the Guggenheim

Pavilion at Mount Sinai - 10 East - Room 301 and her phone is

. (She had the volume turned all the way to " off " by

mistake so if you tried to call her unsuccessfully, try again now

that she has fixed that problem).
