Guest guest
I believe I already said my mom is in the hospital because of a pretty bad bed sore. She has been in there for over a month now. Well, now a rehabilitation hospital. Me and my sister go there every day to feed her. She wont eat for anyone else =). The doctor and case manager had a meeting with my family the other day. I told them that my mom was denied medicare and medical and the doctor said that they deny EVERYONE the first time around and you have to reapply. That doesnt sound right on the gov't part but now I am going to reapply. They said she WOULD be approved. My question specifically is about caregivers. Is anyone a caregiver or know of a caregiver? I think that the gov't pays the caregiver of a perm disabled person? Can anyone point me to information about this or tell me if this is true or not?
