NatureAn organization in Phoenix called ABIL... Arizona Bridge to Independent

Living....

has these great " tickets " made up. They say something like " You are

illegally parked in a handicap parking space. If this was a real ticket you

would have been fined $250.... "

I have left some on people's cars, and although it may or may not make an

impression, it certainly made me feel better!! We have to make people aware.

Here in AZ it seems that every person over 60 has a handicap card or plate. I

often see these people leap out of their cars and trot into the store. It makes

me so mad. I understand that some disabilities can't be seen, but I also think

that doctors need to more discriminating about who they give this privilege to.

Bonnie, here in Florida its about the same thing anyone over 60 has a

handicap sticker. Granted like you said some disabilities are not always visible

but I have to wonder why they were granted one. I just figure if they can walk

the mall (over a mile) and smoke a cigarette they are a whole lot healthier

then I am. Grrrrrrrrr.. Flora
