Guest guest
It was the genetics department at the University of Michigan. They said he has a long arm translocation between chromosme 12 and 16. I got the impresion that they didn`t know what that would mean as far as his development. They all thought he had syndrome thats why they were testing his chromosomes. Tina

How old is your neice? I would happy to chat offlist. Feel free to e-mail me privately anytime. My W.S. daughter is now 14 years old. Most of her classmates have Down Syndrome. She is reading at a first grade level, and writing just isn't happening. She is EXTREMELY friendly, and very cute, too! She did have open heart surgery when she was 2 years old. Like I said, please feel free to be in touch. Sounds like we can help each other! ~
