WOW! That has to be the ultimate compliment.

**Just in case you did not know, there is a rule on this list that you need

to put “requires tissue” in the subject line for posts like that….JUST

JOKING!**

Hugs to you and your little boy!

A few years back, a friend of mine, who has a child 1 year younger than

my son, who is now 6, told me how her son asked why my son talked funny.

(he has apraxia) She remembers telling him that God had made my son,

, special and that will learn to talk when he is ready.

Last week, we got together and my friend called me that night and told

me that her son asked why God didn’t think that was special

anymore because he doesn’t talk funny.

Needless to say, I hung up the phone, got a box of tissues, and hugged

my little boy who has been working so hard for the last 4 ½ years. I

am so proud of the progress that he is making and to have one of his

friends notice is a GREAT feeling of accomplishment!

For those of you who are new to this list, keep working with your

child-it’s a long, hard road for all, but the rewards are phenomenal!!

Hi, All Pittsburgh Goers!

Just thought I'd put it out there that I will be wearing a REALLY NEON

ORANGE hat (Josh's choice) with two little gold cherab buttons sewn on. With

the hat - can't miss me. I'll have it on tomorrow night at registration and at

lunch on Friday. Hope everyone has good travel days.
