Guest guest
Dear Dale, So glad you are back. You have been in my prayers, you know!!! Well I am sure by tommorrow instead of 2300 emails to respond to you will have about triple that to read and respond to. You have been missed and so happy you are feeling better!!! Take it easy and enjoy your recuperation. Try to eat lots of fattening things, enjoy and get better. Nichols Dale is kind of alive. > Hi Folks, > > 6 weeks ago today I went into the hospital for the pump, 31 days later I > came home but had many more problems but today I made it to my computer! Guest guest
Hi Dale: This is probably 2301 but I just had to say WELCOME BACK MY FRIEND - you were missed terribly and here's hoping things are only uphill from here. Give my best to your wife also. Sincerely Jo. (Things just weren't the same without you and I am sure SueMe would agree.) :-) Dale is kind of alive. > Hi Folks, > > 6 weeks ago today I went into the hospital for the pump, 31 days later I > came home but had many more problems but today I made it to my computer! Guest guest
Dale, We all have been waiting on pins and needles waiting to hear from you. Great to know that you are doing better and are back on the computer. You have plenty catching up to do and I'm sure we'll be hearing from you a bunch. Glad you are home and doing better. Talk to you later. Norton Dale is kind of alive. Hi Folks, 6 weeks ago today I went into the hospital for the pump, 31 days later I came home but had many more problems but today I made it to my computer! I have not read a message yet and notice I have just shy of 2300 unread ;-))). You know what? I am looking forward to reading them! Don't expect a lot from me for a while. I will only be on a few hours every so often since I am still very weak and yesterday I started a new PT program. It's intensive PT 6 hours MWF, I have 2 hours of " real " PT and the other 4 hours you can rest or work out. It's great for me, I go for 10-15 minutes, take a break, today my body is sore! My typing is very slow I see and hopefully that comes back also. I am pretty well set in a w/c for but will work to get to the walker again. I will write up my experience later, man will I be rambling on with that one! Good news is I am basically pain free, so other then almost dying, losing 25 lbs in 4 weeks (who needs the Atkins diet?, I now weigh less then I did in high school...), being paralyzed for a few days, the pump was a success ;-)... This weekend it finally started turning around, I have eaten for 6 straight days now so am looking and feeling kind of human again! I am hoping this is it and I'm on the road to recover. So hurry up and take the last of your free cheap shots (SueMe) because in a couple of weeks I plan to be back full swing! I know watch the email grow ;-) Finally, thank all of you for your thoughts, cards, gifts and phone calls. I will try to get back to all of you but please bear with. It meant so much to me in the hospital, it helped keep me going. Thank you all for being here! dale

Guest guest
Jo, I definitely agree, but it just gave me more time to come up with stuff to say to him! No really, I have missed you Dale, but that won't stop me from " giving it to you! " lol ...and I'm sure you will give it back! LOL The other day at church an older guy, yes Dale, even older than you, that I pick on--you didn't think you were the only one did you? LOL Anyway, they were collecting toilet paper rolls for a summer program for our church for crafts and they said they had enough and I told him he must have donated most of them because he is so " full of crap! " Everyone was laughing and he told me I was bad! Sound familiar Dale! ;o) Keep taking care!
