Guest guest
Hi!- Store version is Complete Omega - and it is more expensive at Whole Foods than either ordering the Complete Omega online or getting the ProEFA. Sherry noodlespookie <tricia@...> wrote: I just tried to order ProEFA last night. I have always ordered from www.vitaminlife.com but they obviously no longer carry ProEFA. I then went to the Nordic Naturals website and I really had to jump all around to find proEFA on their site. I kept getting routed back to the store-line products. I remember someone saying that ProEFA is actually cheaper per capsule than complete omega (or whatever the name of the store version). Whole foods near me now carries the store version and that might just be easier from now on. I just wasn't sure which store versoin was the same as ProEFA and neither did the store worker. I know that shop-in-service isn't doing the best financially as they have kept the prices so low on ProEFA even when Nordic Naturals increased their price. Plus I think shop-in-service has shipped products overseas which i know is expensive. I heard rumors that shop-in-service might have to discontinue carrying ProEFA. we will have to ask when she returns to her house. Guest guest
I had my local healthfood store order ProEFA. She charges $20.00 per liquid bottle. How does this price compare to Shop-in-service? I know it was more on the Nordic Naturals website. By the way, I have been giving my 4 year old son 1/4 teaspoon of the liquid ProEFA since July and we have noticed definite improvement in his speech and gross motor skills(within 2 weeks of starting it). He has a rare syndrome called 49,XXXXY syndrome and was recently diagnosed with apraxia. He has added more words to his sentences and is much more clear in his speech. Everyone who works with him has noticed, even those who did not know I was starting EFA. He also is starting to do really well on this tricycle, this was very difficult for him even 1 month ago. I actually like the liquid better. It is less messy. If NN is really cracking down on only selling Complete Omega and not Pro-efa to non professionals, my guess is that Nordic Naturals will probably stop selling to for Shop-in-service as well. I guess she'll will fill us in when she is back home and hopefully hurricane free. denise
Guest guest
Hi, Preston's Mom! The caps are liquid gel caps - just poke a hole and squirt it onto whatever you son is eating. Some parents give the whole cap if their child will tolerate chewing it. We even squirted the goop onto a spoon a couple of times and Josh took it straight just fine. Good luck!
