Hi All,

I haven't posted much lately; we've done so much traveling and a lot of that

to SPF meetings. Just thinking back on it still makes me tired. Welcome to

all the new people; I hope you feel at home. I had over 1,000 posts so I must

admit that I did major delete without reading so if anyone was expecting a

reply from me, ask again.

We just returned home from a 17-day Panama Canal Cruise. It was great and I

feel sort of dumb wondering if I'll ever recoup from a cruise--doesn't make

sense--but that's good old PLS. There were lots of people on the ship who had

w/c, power chairs, walkers, scooters and of course lots of canes. I did rent a

scooter but I never used it, I just did what I always seem to do and hang on

to Craig. I did wish a few times that I would have taken my walker for more

stability...rocking ships, no matter how slight, and someone who has a balance

challenge aren't compatible.

CHICAGO. I was hoping that I would have lots of Registration Forms for

Chicago waiting for me but only had about 6 new ones. So, if you are waiting

for

the last minute to register, you're just about there! I need to get the

information regarding food to the hotel very soon. If you possibly can make

this

Connection, you definitely won't be sorry that you made the effort. I'm really

looking forward to Dr. Siddique's lab tour after the meeting at Northwestern.

Need more information--or if you missed it--let me know. Synapse Newsletter

had a lot of information too. www.SynapsePLSNewsletter.org We do have a lot

of new people who will be attending. I know and I are called the

California Girls and along with Thurza and we dubbed ourselves the

Fearsome Foursome when we set out to make this meeting happen well over a year

ago.

So we Fearsome Foursome are eagerly looking forward to meeting as many of you

as possible. We've already put many hours into this Connection to make it a

reality now I'm looking forward to it being a fond memory.
