Pump Test

> Well, I came home late Fri. afternoon. They did the test for four days.

Increasing the dosage daily. By the third day I was not able to stand at

all, and my legs were totally useless. I had extreme weakness in my arms. I

could not urinate and had to be cathed. My speech was worse. It was the

most frightening experience!! The Dr. said I had too much underlying

weakness & in his opinion the pump was not for me! So, I am glad to be home

and today I feel really good! Glad I tried it. LOVE, PAT in NC

So glad your home and on the mend. Geez, what a horrible thing to go

thru. I give you a lot of credit for attempting it. I hear about

things like what you go thru, and me, I do nothing and let the chips

fall where they may. I wouldn't even consider anything that drastic,

not at my age. I applaud you and any other's who put themselves thru it.
