Guest guest
Hello Everyone - It's been a long time since I've posted. My husband is suspected to have Mito, he's 28 and he was active duty Army until he got sick 4 years ago. During Christmas he got a cold virus that the rest of us also had, and he slept a lot. It's about 6 weeks after he got sick and he's still sleeping. Sometimes he sleeps 18-20 hours a day. He's been to his doctor (not a mito dr) who has run all the standard bloodwork and labs and everything is fine. I have heard that mito people often crash when they have had a virus. Is this a mito crash? Does it last this long? Is there anything we can do for him? Does sleeping actually help? I want to help him in any way I can, and I am trying very hard to be understanding - but after 6 weeks I'm wondering how much longer this will be going on, what does it mean, and how can I help him? Can anyone give me some advice? Amy
