Guest guest
Donna, It is the most current issue of TIME magazine........BUY IT......if you have a granddaughter, I'll just about guarantee that you will need it. Take care, Jeanne Ann Re: OT update on Okay Jeanne Ann, what is the date of the Time mag. I have a granddaughter and we might need to read about her amygdala soon. I'm happy that you found out was normal. They all need to let off a little steam sometime. At least you can be happy knowing what we all already knew ... that you are a good mom. My best to you and your family. Donna > Now I know........it's her AMYGDALA......duh! Why didn't ya just say so!! Just kidding, actually I just read the article in Time about teen brains and it is amazing. is pretty much normal! > Seriously though, she has had two counseling sessions and she told me yesterday that she really liked it. It probably would be good to have a stranger to listen and guide you through problems. Anyway, she is learning what causes her outbursts and how to control them. IN TWO SESSIONS!! Let's me know that it is in there all along, I just didn't know how to go about getting it out. I'm so glad that I overcame my fears of " feeling like a failure as a parent " and got her into counseling. Thanks again to all you wonderful people who walked me through this. I know we have years to go, but at least we've started! God bless and keep those prayers coming! Jeanne Ann Neff > > >
Guest guest
Thanks, I'll do that. Oh yes, I forgot to tell you, you can pick up the Hair Made (hair dryer and stand) at CVS. I saw one last week - no shipping charge. Donna > > Now I know........it's her AMYGDALA......duh! Why didn't ya just > say so!!
