Guest guest Posted February 13, 2004 Report Share Posted February 13, 2004 Hi all, Just a quick update on how Audrey has been doing this past week. I wish I could say she is doing a whole lot better, but unfortunately, she is not. She continues to be very weak and on O2 continuously. She has had a fever off and on and Wednesday Amie talked to the Ped and he wanted Audrey to have another chest xray and then to be seen in the office. By the time they got to the office she had spiked another fever of 106. The nurse about freaked out and they immediately started the sponging off, she had already had Tylenol and Motrin. Anyway, the xray showed another pneumonia. Last night I went by on my way to work and she really wasn't good at all. In fact, I don't think she was even recognizing any of us, and she had slept most of the day. Today when I stopped in as soon as I got off work she was slightly better, at least she was awake and aware of those of us around her. Amie continues to amaze me with her strength. She says she doesn't feel very strong, but I see different. Again, thanks to all of you for the wonderful prayers. I too, continue to pray for all of you and your families to find the strength to fight this beast. I think of you all often but I am sorry I have not been keeping up very well with everything, I spend most of my spare time at Amie's.
