Guest guest Posted February 4, 2004 Report Share Posted February 4, 2004 I read on my digest of this site that someone wanted to know why they couldn't eat grapefruit or drink the juice while on this medication. I looked in my PDR and saw that this makes the absorption of the medication too quick. It stated for my medication, Procardia XL the same thing...not grapefruit. I only have to take my pill once a day so it states I can eat the fruit like 5 hours later, but the pill bottle says to not eat it so I don't.
