Stressed!!

I really need to vent and see if anyone has any hints how to deal with the stress in my life and the effects it is having on my well being.

My daughter and son-in-law have been in each other's lives for 13 years. They dated for 6 years and have been married for 7 years. We have always loved him very much and treated him just like one of our children. They planned and have a beautiful 5 month old baby girl. Last weekend he announces that he is not happy and while he loves my daughter, he is not "in love with her." He wants to be single. She had no idea this was coming and is totally crushed. Everyone is shocked. They were considered a perfect couple. She and the baby are at our house now. Everytime I look at how sad she is I have to leave the room and cry. I am not sleeping at night and cry everytime someone mentions the situation. I called my doctor yesterday and he increased my dosage of Effexor from 75 mg to 150 mg. At this point I can't tell that it is helping. I am exhausted. I am also having problems with my calcium levels and have been in the hospital twice in the past two weeks to receive calcium via IV. My parathyroids were damaged from a large tumor that caused me to have to have my thyroid removed. As of two weeks ago all of my labs were good, so I acutally think that my hormone levels are, or were OK. I am concerned about what the stress in our lives is going to do with my thyroid levels. I took off work today and moved all of our belongings out of the master bedroom and bathroom so she and the baby would have more room. We live in a two bedroom house, so they are sharing a room. Also, my son, daughter-in-law and 8 year old grandson will here tomorrow for a visit. They live 600 miles away and we don't see them often.
