Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to a fantastic group! I am also diagnosed with PLS, kind of, with HSP still in the picture. My mom walks very poorly, and the older I get, the more I walk just like her. She also refuses to get a diagnosis, and explains her walk with " I have a foot defect " . I also belong to the HSP site. Here's the information to join that site. The HSP-L List is a service provided by the Spastic Paraplegia Foundation for individuals concerned with HSP or PLS. To help us help one another and find the cure, send an email to: info@.... Post messages: HSP-L@.... Reach list owner: HSP-L-Request@.... Read archives/manage subscription options: http://listserv.uga.edu/archives/hsp-l.html I'm glad you finally found us, and started posting. I'm also a nurse, female, 56, from Iowa, and was diagnosed at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota in September, 1999. I walk quite well with a cane, have a limp, and my legs also feel weird. Mine just feel very heavy, like they are made of lead. You must be from the East, eh? Welcome again, Laurel
