Guest guest Posted December 30, 2004 Report Share Posted December 30, 2004 I've been diagnosed with Atrial Flutter & Atrial Fibrillation. On Dec. 6, 2004, An EP study was performed, and indicated that I had both. The EP Doctor performed an ablation for the Flutter, but not the Fibrillation. He had said something like, " there was only about a 30% chance of success if he had went after the Fibrillation. " So he left it alone. It's now Dec.30, and I've been to the ER several times with Tachycardia in the 230 range. It now appears I need to have an ablation for the Fibrillation and/or perhaps correct anything that may have been missed the first time around. I'd like to get this groups opinion of where some of the best hospitals are, that can perform these procedures. I live in Dallas, TX, and the only hospitals remotely mentioned are in Houston.
