I would be having exactly the same thoughts as you are, not wanting to go to the ER on a sat. Guest guest
Sandy- Thanks so much for the kind words just hearing from you and everyone else makes me feel better. My rates have been between 85 and 110 so not too bad my bp is low for me about 135/98 its been as low as 110/80.Last check 135/95. I was hoping to ride this out even if I didn't convert at least until the appointment thursday. I hope to get some answers when I meet him. Armed with all the info from people like you I will feel like I will at least know what he is talking about. I'll never forget when they first told me what I had I was confused. I'll keep in touch. Hope all is well with you. Pete Upstate NY > > Pete, I hate this for you. I want you to convert right now! what is the > range of your rates? how is your bp? Guest guest
Dear Pete, I know how you feel! I have been experiencing fibs about twice a week at about 12-16 hours at a time. So far I have converted by myself, but each time I seem to be planning out my trip to the ER, and decide I will wait a few more hours, and then I convert! I know what you mean about saturday nights at the ER. The daytime Dr's seem to be nicer, and the crowds thinner. Somehow things don't seem so frightening in the daytime. This week I am on day 5 of NSR! Holding my breath and rejoicing! Will say a prayer for you, If you don't convert soon, possibly you will feel better going to the ER. When I have gone in, they give me a shot, and I convert. I take Toprol XL digitek and comadin. Have had fib for 15 years, but it used to come only once a year. The passed year it changed to several times a month, and now twice a week. Will talk to my cardio at my next appointment about trying an anti arrythmic drug. Blessings to you, and convert soon.
