Guest guest Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 For those of you with goiters - enlarged thyroids. I was doing chat in the thyca room yesterday, and one woman said she had BHT. I asked what that was. She said " big honkin thyroid. " She was a hoot last night! Said initially when she went into the doc about this lump on her neck, doc said it was a muscle knot and she had been working out too much and to cut back. She said after it was diagnosed as a goiter, she wanted to tell that doc : yeh, let me tape the softball to your neck and tell you it's a muscle knot ! I'm sure it's humor specific to those of us who have had goiters, and misdiagnosed goiters, but it had me cracking up, and still is. rJane Quote
