Guest guest
Hi Vivian - My GBIC email has been messed up this weekend. Apparently it was bouncing at the end of the week, and I tried to fix it, but I've missed a bunch of messages over the weekend. I went back to find yours cause I wanted your news. I'm sorry about your mom's passing. She is at peace now. And to be honest, I am glad for you that it didn't drag on and on, so you can do your grieving and get on with your surgery and new life. I was concerned that you would be forced to give up your surgery date because of your mom. I will keep you in my prayers, hon. Please take care of yourself. Love, Jeanne in WI

Guest guest
Hi everyone Thanks to all who offer their ideas and information on this site. As a relatively new afibber I have found the support here to be sanity saving. I posted a message the other day with a query as to flecainide and exercise - well, I have the answer to that one (in my case. I was feeling soooo.. good after coming off atenolol an going onto the flecainide that I thought I would venture out for a surf for the first time in ages (my afib is triggered by exercise among other things). As soon as I started to paddle out the whooshka, whooshka, boom, boom started-oh no get to the beach, gasp, gasp - you all know the rest.My husband rang the er & they threatened to readmit me (I had been there the week before as I have about 2 biggies per week)- that was enough for me, I didn't want to go there, just the threat must have been enough because I snapped back into sr within a couple of hours. Am now thinking I will have to move inland! ps:I too feel like a " slug " after being a fanatical exerciser all my life to now have to live on the couch is pretty rough. Cheers to you all:)
