I would do anything I could to help Topper out with this group everyone is so wonderful here all very special people. I love this group and would have lost my mind by now if I hadn't found ya'll. Everyone made everything easier for me helped keep me going in my fight. I was tellig Topper today I was re reading posts I saved in my file from this group and came across a pep talk from and sat and cryed my eyes out I miss her . Guest guest Posted April 21, 2006 Report Posted April 21, 2006 Tina, I'm having problems recovering from the whiplash right now, because my thyroid levels rose again and threw everything off track. I have these headaches that start in the back of my neck and go up and over my head, I have one now, and it drives me crazy. My new favorite song is " How Could This Happen To Me " by Simple Plan. One line of it, especially, " I can't stand the pain, and I can't make it go away. " That's how I feel when those headaches come. They're a lot like migraines or tension headaches, except no pain medication does anything for them at all, only a chiro adjustment makes them stop, and I can't even pop it myself to fix them. I've tried, but I either don't do any good or make it worse. We're trying to get me down to 2 chiro's a week, and so far it just hasn't happened, I always end up back in there on Friday or Saturday. Ugh. Oh, and another line, " I'm sick of this life, I just wanna scream, how could this happen to me " is a good one too. As for the move, we have our dates for the packing company to come pack us up, and we check out June 1, arrive in Japan the 27th (we have a few weeks of leave to go home and see family and friends before leaving). My TSH went from 1.9 in Feb to 6.33 this month, so I'm back up to 100mcg synthroid. I have just enough time to adjust to that dose, have my blood drawn the day before we leave here, and have them call in a new dose at the pharamacy Mom uses if I need another adjustment before we go. I was so happy to finally be close to 1.0! That's my target, it's where I Think I will feel best, because I still felt kinda draggy at 1.9, so we had just increased it, so it really took a nosedive to go from 1.9 plus an increase on meds from 88 to 94mcg, and 6 weeks later to be up to 6.3! Bleh. Dumb thyroid! Anyway, very glad you're helping out, I had wanted to, but with the move and then the wreck and all the problems since then, it just wasn't possible for me. I know what migraines are like and I sure do feel for you. I use to take tylenol for mine cuase I am allergic to alot of meds it didnt help much so started taking tylenol with caffiene the caffiene helps a bit, but then that is what most of the pills for migraines are alot of caffiene it opens the arteries in your head and allows the blood to flow normal again.. Oh that will be nice to go home and see your families again make the best time you can, i wish you alll the luck in the world on your move, just remember I am here late night and your on my IM list now so if you can't sleep and need to or want to chat just IM me . I and still praying fo ryou and I hope your whiplash soon starts getting better and your thyroid that had to be a a big blow huh.
