Hi, Dale,

The inaugural powerchair/scooter drag race took place in October of

2002. Pat " Speedy " Croom, Jeanne Ann " Mountain Woman " Neff and Jean

" Slick " Mills lined up for the start. When the green flag waved,

" Slick " pulled a classy maneuver, quickly moved out into the lead and

won the race. Protests were lodged, but were disallowed.

Oh, I didn't know there were " sanctioned " races ;-). Maybe we will have to

create one at the Rocky Mountains Speedway?

Don, I think the reason the protests were disallowed had something to do with
