I'll go through my names and numbers....oh, Dr. Mintz at Bancroft

Neurohealth in Haddonfield is a neurologist who specializes in children. Many of

clients see him..Hope I helped.

Correct - he spoke at the conference in Pittsburgh in July - sounded pretty good

and showed some videotapes of sessions - I liked his technique of working with

the kids but he seemed kind of stone-faced (although I only saw him in one

session of the conference so that's just my quickie impression of him).

Someone on my listserv for children with hearing loss is looking for a

speech

therapist in the Philly area. I thought about Dave Hammer. Am I correct in

thinking that is where is he located? I thought he was located at CHOP, but

they

never heard of him? Can someone kindly recommend a therapist that is

qualified for apraxic children.

Whoever asked for the SLP in Philly......please let me know what area you are

in, I can check the hospital I am affiliated with, to see if there are any on

our recommendation list.
