Guest guest
I am taking 2.5mg tap twice daily, just started this a couple days ago when these labs came in. I was off for several months prior when ranges were "normal" though no antibody tests were run. ?? akats3boys wrote: I am taking a very low dose of tapazole currently. What might a second opinion say? How are conversion problems treated?> Thanks, andrea> a> I am not sure about any conversion problem.. the doctor is ordering a total T3 which is effected by hormones etc. Your T4 is in range which is the goal of ATD's and a low maintnance dose is what you should be on. But you really need a doctor to order the proper tests.. TSH( just to ammuse him) Free T4 and Free T3..your body converts T4 to T3 so it will drop and follow pace with the Free T4 ( may take longer) but it is hard to go by a total test as binding hormones have a lot to do with it..How are you taking your Tap? and how much?Kats3boys Blab-away for as little as 1¢/min.
