I did not get this spam either. Feel kind of cheated after seeing the discussion of it. Guess the spammer figured out how to get by the owner and her help. Yahoo is so flakey with how the mail goes out. Sometimes we get, sometimes we don't.

wow... you guys have been talking about a spammer this morning.... Inever got the spam... I went to the group site and scanned through theposts.. and found it... It's been deleted.. the spammer is ousted andbanned........ and now we get to have a spam hunt... since this one got by both meand Tina..... she never got the email either... we are using moldycatsup in the squirt guns.... I keep a barrel of it out back.... everyonecome on over and load up... spam hunt begins as soon as your loaded!!!!Topper ()Proud Group Owner

I was wondering if the spammers had a way of bypassing owners and moderators, hearing that you never got it either, Sandy, makes me feel less paranoid....

I bet it is just that some of you have spam catchers built into your

email readers that snagged the message and killed it before it got to

your inbox. Yahoo mail is pretty thorough at catching things.

Actually - I now read only from the Yahoo groups maain page because I

was missing way too many messages last time I subscribed. I realized

that sometimes when I thought people had ignored me that the messages

simply never got sent to my email. So, here on the group main page I

see all the messages - and if I'm being ignored for real I actually

know it. hehe

You know - in reality it is probably just a greedy person who is

trying to collect email addresses and whatnot so that they can sell

them and get " rich " . It is probably not even a woman - it could be a

dumpy old man who couldn't care less about anything other than

collecting email addresses to sell . I guess there is big money in it

- I haven't figureed out why - but there must be because it is so

rampant.

I tried not to duplicate the message when I first commented on the

existence of the spamme - I can see where it would be offensive to

repeat it. It is generally not good to reply directly to the spammer

because that will only give them your email address and fuel. Sorry

if my laughing at the ridiculous nature of it made you bristle - I

guess it just seemed so out of place that it made me laugh.

I am the same way and read only from the board..you can always tell

when Yahoo is acting up as the posts will come out of order and some

people actually respond to the post before the post is posted..
