Guest guest
Hi Vera, A supra pubic cath is an indwelling cath that is placed directly into the bladder through the abdomen. The cath is inserted above the pubic bone. There is fewer microbes on the abdominal wall that on the perineum, creating less risk for infection. I think Dave has another UTI. It seems that the antibiotics for the UTI doesn't completely do the job and he is continously having them. Good luck at the doctor Monday, KathyGet your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
