I posted that same question here months ago and got no response so I

went on my own quest and I discovered that Efamol Efalex purchased

through Web Vitamins has the identical ingredients as Nutricia Efalex

had. I cannot find Nutricia anywhere and I have spent hours on the

web looking for Nutricia but to no avail. I just looked at Web

Vitamins and they don't have the 60 softgels available currently but

they do have the 180 count in stock.

I attempted ProEfa initially on my daughter and I saw little if any

results. I then spoke with who suggested the Efalex I took her

suggestion and when I couldn't find anymore available the speech

therapist said, " Okay now what are we going to do because we have got

to have her on this! "

As for the distilling process, I can not answer that question- I

solely looked at the ingredients. Have you checked GNC in your

area? I used to purchase it there but, they discontinued it in some

of their stores.

I hope this helps,

Sheila

Hi Cheryl,

I went to Whole Foods this weekend & brought what I had been giving my oldest.

It is Nature's Way, EFA Blend for Children. 60 soft gels $10.99.

www.naturesway.com

According to the label:

Fish Oil 580mg (providing 120mg DHA)

Evening Primrose oil (seed) 280mg (providing 24mg GLA)

Other ingredients: Gelatin, Glycerin

DOSAGE:

children over 5: 2 softgels morning & eve.

**1st 12 WEEKS: Double rec. dosage.

The woman at whole foods, like the woman from the other hf store where I

originally purchased my first bottle, said that Nature's Way had to change the

name of Efalex since they aren't a part of that company anymore- apparently

Nature's Way bought that part of Enfomol, which she said is a German company.

If anyone else has any more info than I have, please fill me in! Thanks;)

Is there any EPA in the Nature's Way product? From what you wrote, it seems

not since you only mentioned the DHA and the GLA. The Nordic Naturals blend

(ProEFA or Complete Omega) also provide EPA and, it seems from a lot of previous

posts, really good results come from a combo of the EPA, DHA and GLA fatty acids

(which we saw with Josh as well). If you're getting results from Nature's Way,

that's what's important, but just thought I'd throw in two cents about EPA.

(all these initials!!!)
