Guest guest
So far I haven't heard back about any one place to donate shoes to. I'm kind of wondering the same thing actually. sooo..... What do y'all think of someone keeping track of who has shoes and bars to donate and when someone needs them that person can contact the person who has them and they can figure out how to get them to them. Maybe something like this would be a first step to setting up something like a donation center (I'm thinking someone who wants to accept and store a supply and handle getting shoes out to people when requested). I could create and maintain a database of those who have shoes to donate, I could list sizes in the record and get people together as needed. Does this sound like something people would go for? If someone was interested in handling getting the word out to people who have websites to put some sort of link maybe this could take off? Guest guest
At one time Dr. Pirani and Dr. Herzenberg were accepting braces/shoes for their work in third world countries. I am not sure if this is still the case. I would email Dr. Ponseti's secretary, Joyce, and ask if there are any organizations that collect the shoes and bars for clubfoot families domestically or abroad. She would probably know. > Hello -- with Max getting out of his first pair of shoes, I was > wondering if I can donate them to a needy child.
