---I only take part A that is for hospital only, because my husband

has good medical ins. That might be part B as it is early and I cant

find my card. Yes their is one time a year that you can change. The

medicare people can give you more information about that. Carolyn In

I do anything.

I work for a medical equipment company that deals with Medicare B. They

will cover 80% of most equipment ie: walkers, canes, wheelchairs etc. If

medicare is primary, then the co-payment will be billed to your BC/BS and

they will pay anywhere to 80-100% of the copay (depending on your particular

policy) and if you have what they call DME coverage on your policy. It can

save you a lot of money in co-payments especially if you are in need of some

expensive equipment ie: oxygen, CPAP's, beds etc. Do you have Medicare A?

If so, then the co-payments for hospital stays, Dr. visits, MRI'S and

anything else that Part A covers will also be sent the BC/BS for the same

percentage of payment as Part B covers. Sometimes if you have a true

supplemental policy they will pay for the entire copay and pick up your

Medicare deductable which is about $100.00 and is applied at the first of

every year. I hope this has been helpful.

-Donna, you are welcome. I just take the hospital because like I

said, we do have good medical. My check isn't that big and I didn't

want them taking any out of it for medical. Not now anyway. Carolyn--

Thanks Joanne, that helped bunches. I knew someone could put it in

words that would be simple to understand.
