Guest guest
-To all you northern people. There were about 4 dozen Robins in our back yard, just after a rain.Feeding and getting rested on there migration back north. I had some bird food, so I fed them and in a couple of days (Sat ) they were gone. In central Fl they don't seem to nest. It is farther south I guess. Anyway watch for them. LOL Hope things warm up for them. I lived in central IN and have seen then them in Feb. It's too warm to freeze, but I will be looking for that " invisible " ice anyway when I navigate the outside steps in the morning. I don't want a repeat of last Monday's fall. I plan on being an " upright " citizen this week, for sure. A lady in church reported seeing her first robin this morning. I have not seen one yet. > I think we'll all feel better mentally & physically when spring comes & warmer weather with it. > Take care, > Laurel > > > > > >
Guest guest
Will keep my eyes peeled out for their arrival, but I am so far North they probably won't arrive until the beginning of May. Guest guest
Believe it or not, a few weeks ago in the outdoor section of our paper, in the birdwatchers section was a picture of a Robin here amid the snow and cold. Obviously took a wrong turn somewhere along the line. I am watching for the passers through already on their way farther north Thom <>< > > Thom, > > As I sit here catching up on the day's emails, I can hear > raindrops on the roof. Guest guest
Byron, I'll keep an eye out for the robins. It is 60 degrees here today. They should be here soon. Maybe already are and I've missed them. I'll let you know. Ronnie in WV Re: Thom/Just dropping by...ROBINS........ -To all you northern people.
