Guest guest
Hi Sherry I read your reply to and when I saw that you wrote Youngstown, Ohio being the midway point I almost flipped. My daughter has Apraxia and SPD and she is also 4 1/2 yo, we are from Youngstown, Ohio!!!!! If you two ever do meet up drop me an email, we have a wonderful park in a near by city (Boardman) 5 minutes from my house, and I can really be you tour guide, my dd has very few friends, just her cousin (male) and his friends in his neighborhood. Yes, they are all boys (and 1 girl) so I know my dd is much more comfortable playing with boys than girls, dont get me wrong she likes all children, boys and girls, she just really really prefers to romp and stomp with the boys. If you both are ever interested let me know. LOL Traci (Mom to ann 4.6, Apraxia and SPD from Poland, Ohio -outskirt of Youngstown, Ohio)
Guest guest
Traci! How funny! Youngstown was always my family's stopping point on our yearly trips to visit relatives on the east coast - because it was half-way there! In all the times we stopped there, though, we never explored the city or the surrounding area since we always got there so late in the day and then took off early the next a.m. to make it through Pennsylvania (not that I don't like PA - I think it's a beautiful state!). Next time we're in Youngstown, though, we'll let you know! Guest guest
I never realized how close I was to Youngstown until recently. I was taking Colin to visit grandma and there was a really bad car accident in I79, close to my house. WE detoured around it and got lost and next thing I knew, we were driving through Youngstown!
