Guest guest
Tawnya, So does that mean your district or county has no deaf ed program at all and no " default " that they would send kids to? Wouldn't they even default to California School for the Deaf in Fremont? They must have something. (I suppose since your son has mild-moderate loss, the options are different.) Or is the default for kids under 3 the early intervention parent-infant program with the TOD and or therapist who comes to your house? Lydia > We don't have a public school program. So this is really our only school > option. > > Tawnya

Guest guest
Yes, that is right. The alternate is the person coming to the house. But we are supposed to reevaluate at 18months and decide on a group option then. I guess what I was trying to say is that they would have to use something private for group sessions because they just dont have anything IN the district. So CEID would probably be what they offer.
