Dear ....Halter, Holter....I think we all knew what you meant.

I was one of the ones that you are talking about....stress, stress,

stress and a high pressure job. Oh my, and what I know now.... I

think I would have opted to be a farmer....LOL

I have only been a member of this group for a year --- but the beauty

and strength of the group is the many and varied experiences and

opinions of the members. I learn from the experiences of those who

have tried and benefited a holistic approach. I learn from the

experiences of those who have tried and benefited (or not) from

various medications. And I learn from those who have benefited (or

not) from surgical approaches. As an engineer I like DISSENT. It is

after all a part of the scientific method, and we can all benefit

from those who offer differing experiences and points of view.

Dissent on group!

, Charlotte NC

60, vagal and mixed AF, NSR for 7 months on flecainide 150mg x2,

aspirin 325mg, magnesium 250mg (I learned from this group), enteric

coated (I learned from this group)fish oil concentrate

,

Im in agreeance with some of the replies to this post, There are so

many confusing words where AF is concerned I cant understand why

yahoo hasnt put in a spell checker before now lol.

I also think that as adults that it is good to have a heap of

information and we can take from it what we need, the disclaimer is

a great thing telling people this isnt a medical site.

But personal insight and perspective can be helpful to some on many

levels.

AF is an illness with so many variables and no two people are

exactly the same, no two people have triggers that are the same.

Ive seen many things trigger AF in my husband ie; Alchohol, Spicey

Foods, Stress.

Dont sensor yourself based on others opinions say what you feel when

you feel it, that information may just be important for someone.

I think practioners can be a little to quick to offer a medical

solution to a problem in its early less severe stages, when there

are other alternatives that could be tried as long as that person

isnt in a high risk group.

Anyway I think I have made my point, we all say what we say with no

malicious reasoning and with the knowledge we have which will vary

in degree from another. But its said with the intention to help and

these forums are helpful to many people for many reasons.

Dont let them stop or be sensored for any reason just be aware that

this is not a medical site.

Hugs to great team

Lis
