When I was first diagnosed with thyroid, the Doctor put me on Armour.

She was killed in an accident and I had to find another. He changed me

over to synthroid and I had chest pains and he switched me back over to

armour.

A few years later he did it again and the same problem. He said not too

many people was on it and that synthroid was better. About ten years

after that he tried again and the same thing.

I have had the same Doc all these years and now he says that some do

better on armour and I am probably one of those people. I am the only

patient of his that is. He has a large client list too.

Blessings,

Fionna

Thank you. I think my body goes more for the natural things. I am so

allergic to alot of the new meds of anykind out there. Sometimes I just

get tired of taking new ones. I think the Doc is too.

Fionna, I just noticed below that I put " blessing in disease " --I

meant " blessing in disguise " ---LOL. I think you knew that, though.

I type too fast (and I made a C in typing in high school--har).

Darn, this doctor was awfully hard headed, wasn't he? Three times he tries

to kill you, one time wasn't enough to make a believer out of him? I see he

finally learned (maybe), all at your expense. Sometimes they take people

completely off thyroid hormone, determined that if you can't take $ynthroid,

it will be nothing at all, and then they sit back and watch you die. If

that sounds far fetched or bitter, I'm sorry, but it is the truth.
