It can be adrenal related. And how much Armour are you on?? And by

the way, my husband has gotten severe headaches all of a sudden this

month, too. Janie

My eyes are very sensitive to the light. I never open the blinds at

home or at work. I prefer the darker shaded room. Only if it's dark

and overcast will you see my mini blinds open. I do however have

problems with headaches when I am hypo. I've not noticed any problems

since I finally got back on the armour after stopping it for about a

week or so. I have had major headaches for most of my life, starting

at around age 15. I used to have to take something, and lay down in a

cold room sometimes having to sleep it off. Since my grandmother on

my fathers side died of a brain tumor, I had that checked out more

than once. They could find nothing. I do suspect that for many years

I had thyroid issues that were never addressed, in looking back at the

problems I had.

I am not on any Armour. I am only taking .075 levoxyl. Is there

such a thing of taking them both at the same time? The 1 grain of

Armour made my bones ache sooooo much, like arthritis. So I stopped.

> I'm having loads of headaches becuase it is really stormy here -

maybe its the weather?

This is amazing. Several of us have reported headaches right now. My

husband's appeared every afternoon, starting about 10 days ago. It

was always behind his left eye---arched up and around his ear and

towards the deep back left side. Suddenly, last Friday, they

stopped....and his sinuses are stuffy on and off....

my guess is adrenals or even ferritin (iron storage) could have made

that happen with the armour. It's just letting you know there is

something underlying going on that needs attention.

I'm the exact opposite. I took Armour to get rid of all those achy

pains. It only comes back if the Armour is stopped, or the dosages

need to be increased. I do plan on getting my ferritin tested though

as I can do that myself through www.healthcheckusa.com for about 18.00

in my area.

Hi mycatmiller,

Previously I responded to your message " calling endo-need help' with

this question:

> Have you added 0.05 mcg Cytomel to your .075 Levoxyl? Actually 50

mcg Cytomel is a huge dose!!! Are these two white tablets that you

took? Usually, people start with 12,5 mcg Cytomel, which is half a

tablet, or even less, just a small quart. (6,25 mcg). Most people

can't take more than one whole tablet once they have found their

optimum dose. <

Now my next question is, have you quit taking Cytomel all of a

sudden? The headache might come from raising or lowering too fast.(A

headache is usually a hypersign for me). In your case, you did both!

And sometimes it can take weeks for the symptoms to vanish, due to a

sudden change in hormonal stability. But hopefully that was not the

case?

Have you had your Ft3 and Ft4 checked lately? I guess its very

important to know where you are right now.

I hope you will feel better soon.

Margreet.

Me too. I had a weird headache on Sunday. Very sharp pain radiating off and on

through the left occipital area forward. This, from a person who NEVER gets

headaches. Biological warfare???
