Guest guest
I have one thing---no two things------to say about your Free T4---(1) Pooey on this dummy of a doc and shame on the idiot, for even by his/her standards, this # is in the abnormal range, and (2) That's waaaaayyyyyy too low by anyone's standards. Free T4 is the main thyroid hormone normally produced by the thyroid, and should be close into the upper range, or at least midrange. There's no telling about your pituitary, though, because I can't believe, with that T4 reading, that it's not stimulating your thyroid more. You also need thyroid antibodies testing, which would be the antithyroidperoxidase antibodies and the antithyroglobulin antibodies, at least. They work at destroying your thyroid " system " , sometimes in different places, including the TSH receptor sites. reclusive coming out with lab #s and story, help please > Hello everyone, first off i've got to say i love being able to keep > up with all of you and i love how you share! i have been lurking in > the background, asked a couple of questions and now i have lab #s > and more questions. > and second-- you all can share the reclusive throne-- i think i get > the crown. i moved to japan 7-2004 from Minnesota to get away from > all and everything i knew. i'm not quite ready to go back yet but i > can see a dim light - i think. > anyway... > i feel like s--- and have for a very, very long time. i am 44, both > parents had hypot issues and now both deceased, still having the > curse (don't mean to offend but...) regularly, physical PMS is > better as time goes but the emotional part is worse, never been > pregnant never tried, dxd depressed and about 5 years on Wellbutrin > 300mg and Paxil 25mg now, puffy eyes, peeling fingernails, cannot > remember a thing, low basal temp, cannot lose weight, gain weight > just by thinking about dinner, sore feet, flat feet, itchy skin so > bad sometimes that when i scratch i get instant bruises that last > and last and i look like a battered wife, sort of sleep and soooo > tired all day and hard to get out of bed, sore everything it seems, > headaches that can last for days (not migraines thankfully), cold > hands and feet, sleep apnea, no motivation, there is more but ... > had blood and urine checked with an endo here, she passed me on to > another endo who could speak english and basically he said i am > fine. i said, you are only going to look at the #s not my > symptoms? yes. end of discussion. i thought how nice, how > typical. > SO here are some of the numbers i had translated and the translator > is on my side big time so i trust her. > lab range my stat > .81-1.58 FT4 .76 > 2.35-4.48 FT3 3.53 > .44-4.03 TSH 1.78 > 4.5-21.1 Cortisol 7.2 > 7.4-55.7 ACTH 17.0 I have no idea what that is. > there are more blood lab #s but ferritin (SP?) was not tested. i > hope to go back soon for that. > the urine test results were > color > pH 7.5 > specific gravity 1.004 and the rest were only +'s and -'s. > i found this sight by way of the tropical traditions virgin coconut > oil site. i did start using VCO about 5 weeks ago and did notice my > pulse speed up when i first started using it and my base body waking > temp came up a little too. > i know this is a super long blah blah blah so i'll stop. thank you > very much for listening and for any help. > kathryn

When you get that free T3 up with Armour, you will notice great strides in many of the problems you listed---and especially the depression. Janie ) > lab range my stat > .81-1.58 FT4 .76 > 2.35-4.48 FT3 3.53 > .44-4.03 TSH 1.78 > 4.5-21.1 Cortisol 7.2 > 7.4-55.7 ACTH 17.0 I have no idea what that is.
