The friend I was talking with told me that also that if your pants are tight fitting or loose fitting it makes a difference on the accuracy of it. I sort of have a roll of fat that hangs over my pedometer so I wonder if that changes it? Where did you clip it on your shoe? Just on the side? Guest guest Posted April 2, 2004 Report Share Posted April 2, 2004 I've been using my pedometer the last 2 weeks and I've discovered that it has to be facing forward. I'm pretty round, so when I put mine more on the side of my jeans it didn't count correctly.
