mouth sores

I was wondering if anyone has any advise for mouth sores on the

outside (like fever blisters). My onc gave me a precription for the

sores inside my mouth and throat but it doesn;t help with the sores on

the outside. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am

really having problems drinking. I do use a straw, but I have several

sores on my lips and it is hard to close my mouth over the straw. I

know I am getting in enough liquids, but it is really hard and I need

some relief from the pain.
