Money question About surgical consult fees.

I was wondering if anyone can shed some light. I am a Kaiser patient

who was sent to Pacific Bariatric in San Diego. I had my evaluation

meetings with the 3 Doctors and I got a bill from the internist for

$150.00 for the consult. Am I mistaken in this or was Kaiser

supposed to cover these expenses or am I looking at more $ out of my

pocket? If anyone has had a similar experience can you please shed

some light on this or give me an idea whom to contact.

read the statement better i got one too for 215$ but i personally owe 0 i believe that at the bottom it says that this is not to be paid by you

No such luck Shirley.

Mine shows the balance due to be $150 & asks for it ito be returned with payment.

Ron: I had my 3 evaluations about 3 weeks ago, and have yet to

receive a bill from anyone. And, I'm quite certain, the " Itinerary "

Pac Bar sent me stated that the co-pay was $0.00 I may still get a

nasty surprise, but I don't think so. You're right to check with

Kaiser Customer Service. Use a number on your approval letter, if

possible.
