Guest guest
Not at all…was just brief because I was in a rush. :-) question re: MD team Hi All, My mom, recently diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ, has so far had the following physicians involved in her care: general practicioner, pathologist/radiologist (mammogram +biopsy), surgeon-to-be. As we are very new to this, we are wondering who will do the follow-ups in the future. Do we need an *oncologist* apart from the doctors currently involved in the treatment? Do surgeons remain involved? ...We assume the pathology/ radiology team is temporary, and the general care physician has so far only been involved to the extent of recommending the annual mammogram... Who have the most important long- term players been in your care? Best, Belma
Guest guest
Good glad you did not take it the wrong way. I meant so fast after the masectomy to find another lump. Best of luck tomorrow. Guest guest
Actually, I’m not the only one on the list to find another lump within 6 months after the surgery (and in my case after chemo)…but I’ve been a “lumpy” person since I was 24-25. Had fibrocystic breasts since that time. question re: MD team Hi All, My mom, recently diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ, has so far had the following physicians involved in her care: general practicioner, pathologist/radiologist (mammogram +biopsy), surgeon-to-be.
