Guest guest
Thank you so much for reminding us that weight gain could be any number of things and that to pay homage to the scale during these times may not be helpful. It is really important I think to not engage in the same diet mentality that led most of us to being the obese people we were . I support Judy in her quest to become whatever size that she wants. For me however, I started out in the beginning of this whole thing telling myself that I would accept where I stopped after the 'magic time' of the surgery. While for many standards I remain a big woman (at 200) I finally like myself. I do watch that I try not to put too much sugar in my mouth... some days, I win, others, I write to this group in an effort to accept responsibility for my behavior. I know there are many here that have recommitted and lost more and more weight. I applaud those who have done this. Each of us is different... which is why this group is so interesting. All of us find our unique way to get to where we 'want' to go.... I worry for myself because I get caught up in the frenzy of weight loss and forget the basic principles of this surgery. Protein, water, movement..... just my two cents? Be well, Cath (Tig)
