Guest guest
Hi Y'all, I wanted to let you know that I took Gregg back to the hospital last night. He was dramatically worse - nearly falling everytime he stood or tried to walk and dizzier and somewhat confused. He was also having those brief spiky headaches in the forehead and occiput which were increasing in frequency. We stayed in ER only 5 hours this time before being admitted (by Neurology this time). He's having a 3-day course of Solu-Medrol. After 2 doses, already he's feeing better. More energy and steadier on his feet as well as a bit more clear-headed. It's wonderful - I don't realize how seldom he has an improvement until he has an improvement. It's like a great weight off my shoulders, and a great Joy infusing my Spirit! However long or short the improvement, I'm thankful! We refused the heparin injections after only one. We asked why he was being given them and it's a preventive measure for someone imobilized. Well, he's NOT imobilized and I'm massaging his legs and he's taking walks, so... He already has to have the IV heparin-locked when it's not being used and that's enough anticoagulant for us. I hope for all of you to be "well-er" Love, Jeri

Guest guest
Jeri, I've been away from the computer for 3 days, so just read this. I hope Gregg is feeling even better today.
