Guest guest
In the treatment method we use for Fibromyalgia, it is important not only to reduce pH, but to do it a particular way. We also aim for 7.4 saliva pH. With use, we can feel our pH level results and don't use the test. Fibros don't need to reduce stomach acid. We need stomach acid to naturally digest our food. 1. We chew Calcium Carbonate tablets. That way the calcium can neutralize Hyaluronan (Hyaluronic Acid) specifically - in the saliva in your mouth and throat. 2. Swallowing Calcium tablets seems to have a quite different effect - it neutralizes some stomach acid. 3. Protonix, Ranitidine, Nexium, Prilosec, etc are proton pump inhibitors- they retard the production of stomach acid in the stomach. You might want to keep these three different outcomes in mind when you are evaluating what works best for your situation.
