Hey Dana,

You called it - Brazzaville is one - Kinshasa is the other. I must

confess, I love this stuff as much as ! We spent an hour today,

tooling around the National Geographic maps on Australia, Indonesia and New

Zealand. Stuff like, what body of water is between Australia and New

Zealand?

Thanks for you generous comments! I confess - I think of what a great kid

he is and I get all teary. I think his father and I both expected a

bright, good looking kid - but neither of us expected just a reasonable

human being - which makes me incredibly pround.

With respect to C3 & C4 - both have been trending down all fall. C3 was

at a high of 113 last January - and is now down to 85 (normal is 86-184).

Although C4 has also been trending down, it remains comfortably normal at

26.8 (normal for A is 20-59). What has me very curious, is this is exactly

what we went through last year! There were worries in the fall - and

everything resolved itself. What is your experience with this Dana? Where

are your levels now? How seriously do your docs look at them? All the

literature says that C3 and C4 have nothing to do with prognosis, but

there's almost no data on this - especially with IgAN patients who also have

low C3.
