Guest guest Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 Hi Shari, I don't know if I felt 'phantom nipple' sensations, but I definitely felt pains and twinges after my mastectomy. It took a few months, and then I stopped feeling them. - Quote
Guest guest Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 I had the same thing. It is sotra like phantom limb pain after amputation. We had our breasts amputated. Mine did go away after a couple of months. Hmmmmmm, except for a very weird sensation, last week, similiar to when your milk lets down. Don't think that will happen again! Guest guest Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 Oh, yes, my left nipple is no longer with me, but I still have feelings in it, since my 8 May 2006 mastectomy. And it also has feelings which are none of its business - when I drink something very cold, the chill doesn't run down the centre any more, it heads straight out to the phantom nipple!
