Hi Tom,

I am Darlene Arney, Co-Owner of this site, and I asked for the roll

call.....a roll call is just for everyone to check in and let us

know you are ok...we are a very caring, loving, and helpful group

here and WE DO CARE about you and every member. When the list gets

quiet and there is not much posting; or we have not heard from

members for a while, we worry that you are really sick right now or

something is wrong. We hope you are just busy........but without

someone letting us know, we have no way of knowing except to email

each of you and with 263+ on the list, that is not

feasible........so a roll call gets quite a few responses and then

we know you are ok or sick or just need a break....hope this answers

your question and by the way, if I have not welcomed you yet,

WELCOME to our group and so glad you found us....but sorry to hear

that you have Sarcoidosis ....please tell us about yourself and know

that we are here to help. There are lots of knowledgeable people

here on the list and most have been through a LOT, so just

ask..........

Hi Tom,

Periodically, we have roll call so we can find out what's happening with folks that we haven't seen posting in a while. We care and we wonder where they are and what's going on. That's all!

Hi Tom,

Roll call is for people like me ( grin) that dont post too often but have

been here for a while. its just the families way of checking up on eveyrone

and making sure everyone is still alive, or at least not too sick. welcome!
