Guest guest
Hi, well, I had the ECG and ECHO done yesterday and they were both clear, which was a relief. The girl was quite good and explained everything she was looking at and i asked a lot of questions. The only 2 things which were outside her remit she said, was to get checked for atrial fibrillation for the flutter/palps. and that the dizziness and lightheadedness could be vasovagal related, especially with the low BP. The flutter/palps have subsided a little bit actually but I still have the 'spinning' when I move my head. I guess this just means waiting for the Armour to arrive! Regards, jo Akasha____ wrote: >My GP said that these > symptoms were probably cardiac but left it at that... I went through 5 years of dizziness (Not Vertigo)and shortness of breath. My GP ordered every test imaginable except a cardio workup. It was me that asked him to order an echo, and there it was,MVP,,,Of course I had to also ASK HIM TO RUN THE THYROID BLOOD WORK also! (this was years before) and low and behold a tsh of 139!...sometimes we just have to wonder how these people passed their boards. Debi... Guest guest
Jo~ --- ECG and ECHO done yesterday and they were both clear.....That is great news. Vasovagal syncopy is something my mother-in-law had. She would faint for no apparent reason. It lasted for about a year and then it was gone. She does have low blood pressure normally, and I believe this attibuted to her condition. It has also been known to be managed psychologically. Hang in there. This to shall pass and you will feel great again. Debi > > well, I had the which was a relief. The girl was quite good and explained everything she was looking at and i asked a lot of questions. Guest guest
H I, I had vasovagal episodes (4) from age 11-25. The last time was on my wedding day! Interestingly enough, I had begun thyroid treatment about 2 months before my wedding. I think it could be thyroid-adrenal related. I've read that blood volume can perpetuate an episode, so if there's some dehydration it could happen. I remember craving salt terribly back then and ate alot of it. I just found out this year that it was vasovagal episodes I had! My sister-in-law was telling me about her problems and that this is what it is. I felt good just finding out what it was! in Va.
