right now i'm fighting a really bad case of sinusitis -- nothing is working so far!!

Joline,

Have you tried the Sinus Rinse. It's a normal saline that you use to wash out your sinuses. It really works. Gets all that stuff thats impacting in there out, and breaks up the infection really fast.

I used to have chronic sinus infections, and my chiropractor turned me on to this stuff - and now I use it nightly- between living in a forest with lots of dust and pollens, and being on a cpap machine at night for sleep apnea, this has been a blessing. Not to mention I'm saving $100.00's of dollars by not needing the anti-biotics and antihistamines. (Which is why most MD's don't know much about it.) You can get it at health food stores, or behind the counter at Longs Drugs or Rite Aids, etc. (It would replace all the crap on the shelf if people knew how good it works, so the pharmacy's hide it.)

Hope this helps,

Tracie

PS. Yes, sarc can be in your sinuses, but again- you're dealing with blockage, so rinse out what you can.

Hey guys. It just so happens that I got word back from my brain MRI that they noticed a cyst on my sinuses, do you think that could be sarc? The dr. didn't really seem too concerned about it. He was more concerned about my neck MRI which showed loss of fluid between discs or something like that... can't exactly remember , but I have to go back to PT again for a diff. kind of cervical traction than last time. That sucks....

Should I be concerned about that cyst . I think I shall call the neuro back today.

thanks for any input, Luv, DebbieKangiKanti7@... wrote:

You can also mix your own sinus irrigation solution. This recipe is as close to Normal Saline as one can make:

8 oz sterile water

1/3 tsp salt

pinch of baking soda.

I actually, sometimes have the commercial saline preparations burn because of the preservatives added... I haven't tried the specific one Tracie recommends, though.

Something else that makes it more comfortable is putting the bottle in a hot water bath (like you'd heat a baby's bottle) to bring it to room temperature!

I can give you step-by-step details about how to rinse your sinuses too.... the idea can be daunting at first, but it's SO helpful, you really can get used to it!

Hope this helps!

Love,
