Hi all,

I got the call I have been waiting for. Joyce from Dr. Sherman's office

called. I told her I had the appt at the pain clinic and she gave me some

info to give them. She didn't really " plan " anything, but said to keep in

touch about the pain clinic. I told her I was done doctoring at U of M and

she said to call her after the pain clinic and go from there. She said Dr.

Sherman would be happy to work with the pain clinic. So, I guess I go to the

pain clinic and go from there. I might just as well, I have been waiting for

three months for the appt. And really, anyone should be able to handle this

part of it. And beyond that I will definitely go back to him. So there you

have it. I really am not sure what I got out of all of that, but I am glad

to know he will work with someone up here, and am equally glad that I will go

to him when and if I need to . That is a relief somehow.

Anyway, I had a pretty decent day! I was so happy! I have not tried to eat

yet and am starting to hurt now, but I took pain meds all day and felt pretty

good! Wow, maybe there really is better living through chemistry. But I

just don't want to take pain meds just to eat. That somehow doesn't seem to

be quite right...........ah well, another week and hopefully some answers!
